Shipping


Shipping Information and tips:

 Your gifts and chocolates arriving safe and sound is a priority for us.

Please remember our chocolates are handmade to order and may not always be in stock, so please allow a few days for your order to be completed.

We would like you or the recipient to receive their chocolates, so please double check the address before submitting your order. We cannot be held responsible for orders returned or undeliverable due to an incorrect address. Also, if no one will be at home to accept the delivery, we recommend sending the order to a business address that way they won't be left outside of a residence.

Note: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. 

Below is a map to indicate the number of days to ship from our Creamery. Ground shipments to CT, MA, NH, Eastern New York, Northern NJ, Maine, Rhode Island & VT. will arrive within one day of leaving us. However, warm weather places will require expedited shipping, next day or 2nd day via UPS.

 

1. Selecting a shipping date -

Because of the perishable nature of chocolates, we use 1 or 2 day shipping methods and in warmer weather we ship in insulated boxes with cold packs. 

 

2. Days we ship -

We prefer to ship on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, so that your package does not spend the weekend at a holding facility. But if you order them on Friday, please use next day Saturday delivery service - please note a Saturday delivery surcharge applies.

 

3. Busy Holiday Seasons -

Christmas/Hanukkah, Easter, Thanksgiving Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day are a busy time for a chocolatier, so please allow more time for shipping. (Allowing more time for delivery gives you other delivery options, too - ship earlier and save on overnight delivery fees)

4. Please Check for the Proper Address Verification -

Note, when shipping to a physical address, an accurate street address, suite/apartment number, company name (if applicable), and phone number is required to ensure proper delivery.

 

5. Warm Temperature Conditions -

We are committed to delivering fresh delicious chocolates for you in great condition, and include ice-packs and insulated boxes (without charge) when shipping to warm climates.

However, we suggest you select an OVERNIGHT delivery option if the temperature at your destination city is more than 70 degrees F. Please make every effort to notify the recipient that a package will be arriving. We cannot be responsible for items left unattended or not sent overnight  in warm weather.

 

6. Signature Required -

All orders are shipped "signature required" which means the package will need a signature to be left at the destination address specified. We are not responsible if the package is lost or stolen after delivery.

 

7. Order Tracking -

As soon as your order is fulfilled and shipped, you will receive tracking details. You will then be able to track your package by going to the carrier's website.

8. Refund Policy - 

Your complete satisfaction is our priority. If for some reason your chocolates or gifts do not arrive in optimal condition as they have been sent, please let us know within 24 hours of there arrival and we will be happy to resend your order or give you a full refund.
