Here at Thorncrest Farm & Milk House Chocolates we are taking every available precaution to ensure the safety and health of our customers and our cows. The following is a list of the various shopping methods we have implemented to assist our friends and community to get through this challenging time.

1. Chocolate Shop Hours:

To ensure the safety of all of our customers, we are open for business for chocolates and milk in person at the chocolate shop, by phone order and online.

When you arrive at the Farm, you can browse our available chocolate selections inside our NEW "No Contact" Shop. We will greet you through the serving window and take your order from a safe distance. We then prepare your order and have it ready for you momentarily.

Alternatively, you may place your order for pick up by placing your order on the website (input your shipping address and phone number where asked, then proceed to the next page to chose the "Pick Up at The Creamery" option). Or, you may call in your order at 860-309-2545. Please allow us some time to prepare your order--we can call you when your order is ready for pick-up service.

If you have placed your order online or by phone, when you arrive at the farm, please call 860-309-2545 to let us know you have arrived. While you stay in your vehicle, we will place your order on the table in the "No Contact Shop" outside the creamery. Then you can proceed to the table to pick up your order. We thank you for your consideration for everyone’s safety.

2. Stable and Farm Hours:

Thursday through Sunday: 10:30am - 3pm

3. For complete social distancing we are offering a reduced shipping rate of $6.99 - for your online shopping orders to New England, New York, and New Jersey. Shipping is free for online orders over $75.00 to New England, New York, and the Mid-Atlantic areas.

This is especially important as we can ship your order to you, so you don't need to venture out. Your chocolate order will arrive typically next day for you to enjoy in the safety of your own home. To order on our website click here.

As Summer arrives here on the farm, calves are born, grazing pastures are growing the sweet grass, the first cutting of hay is tucked into the barn, and the cows look forward to their midnight grazing time out on the pastures. The cows don't read the newspapers or hear the rumbles of the headlines, but they do relish in the peaceful time they share together -- how I wish this same peace for you and your family. Please stay safe and healthy, and like the cows, we will all get through this together.
